I lead our virtual production department and work on incorporating new technology into projects, whether that's adding motion capture to a video shoot or designing an interactive light exhibit for an event. I love finding creative new ways to tell stories with the most cutting-edge tools.

Keri Buchana

I'm the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating logistics and streamlining processes to managing day-to-day workflows, I thrive on keeping things efficient, structured, and on track!

Scott Handel

I've been at OHD Studios as long as anybody. I've been working in production now for about 35 years, and it's really all I've ever done professionally. It honestly started as a way to get me out of actual classes in high school and then somehow blossomed into a career. Over the years I've worked as an editor, worked in graphics, done some live events, but most of my time was spent as a Director of Photography (fancy word for cameraman) shooting more interviews than I can count. I've seen just about every side of this business, so as a producer, I come well-equipped to deal with any surprises that production can throw at me. I'm just a guy that gets things done and has a great time doing it.

PS: My mom still thinks I want to be on TV, and that I'm working my way up.

Noah Kuhr

I am a hard-working sound engineer who specializes in adapting to new situations and creating quick solutions to complicated issues. From live events to video shoots and streaming, I use state-of-the-art technology to ensure clear, high-quality sound recording.

Tommy Shafer

I have 15 years of Audio Engineering experience that I bring to the table, ranging from internationally recognized live music festivals like Sonic Temple and Bourbon and Beyond, to Studio Recording and ADR work for film. I also edit, color grade, score, and mix films, live concert productions, and commercials, and will sometimes fill in on sets in whatever role is needed, from Camera Operation to Grip.

Max Groah

I am a studio host and in charge of the summer internship program at OHD Studios. I'm an award winning independent filmmaker and long time enthusiastic contributor to film festivals, conventions, contests, panels and podcasts despite having attended twelve years of Catholic school in Columbus. I once managed a Subway out near Polaris, teaching kids how to mop, and that instilled a sense of purpose in me that I try to creatively fulfill daily in the production world. Vincent Restivo

It's simple - I arrive on set with experience, reliability, and a deep respect for the visual story we’re telling. I don’t just light a set—I shape mood, guide emotion, and support the director and DP’s vision down to the smallest nuance. I know my gear inside and out, and I work fast, clean, and safe.
I anticipate needs before they’re spoken. I’ve got a calm presence under pressure, and I know how to run a team efficiently without stepping on toes. Whether it’s a high-budget commercial or a gritty indie film, I bring the same level of care and commitment every single time.

After over 10 years of experience in the industry, I take a lighthearted and knowledgeable approach to events, commercial shoots, and passion projects. I'm always willing to take the time to talk though a project and the needs it requires, whether it be a single shot that needs to be rigged in an unconventional manner, figuring out best practices for running signal flow, or putting together a package for an unforgettable live event.

David Jeffries

As Chief Nerd at OHD Studios, I'm all about pushing the limits of where tech and art meet. I love creating visually stunning stories, whether they're live experiences or video productions. My main thing is developing innovative and engaging narratives that really grab people. I make sure we're using the right tools for the job to deliver awesome and memorable experiences. And I lead our teams – rentals, crew, and project managers – to make sure every project we do is cutting-edge and top-notch.

Robby Sliwinski

I work in both the Camera and G&E departments while on set, and you can find me back in our rentals area prepping orders and making quotes while back at the shop. I bring a mix of technical know-how and a positive team-first attitude to every project, always aiming to make the process smooth, collaborative, and have everything run as seamlessly as possible. While many people here at OHD can help you with a gear question or build you a quote, only I can also obsessively talk to you about Trading Card Games!

As a studio manager, I ensure that every client that walks through our door is provided with the right resources to make their shoot go smoothly. From working with our clients schedule and arranging deliveries to providing technical support and customer service, I bring a positive attitude to the job!
